Diamond Springs is where a good chunk of our November goes, up 49 from our Plymouth shop through the oak hills and past El Dorado. Most folks who call from here have done their own lights for years, and the ladder has somehow gotten taller. Our Diamond Springs Christmas light installation takes that off their hands. We bring the lights, put them up right, and come back for them in January. Call (209) 444-1844 for a quote.
How we’d light a Diamond Springs house
We start at the roof, with one clean line along the eaves and up each gable, held on with plastic clips. Some hook over the gutter edge, others tuck beneath each shingle tab, and none of it goes through your trim. If you’ve got a tile roof, there are clips made for that too, and they hold without cracking a thing.
After the roof, it’s the yard. Wrapping an oak trunk and the first few big limbs gives you a lot of glow for the effort. We add pillar and column wraps if you have a porch, lit garland on the railing or banister, and a wreath hung at the front door. Stake lights go along the walk or the driveway, placed so they’re clear of your sprinkler heads and won’t get flattened when somebody backs out. Our home lighting page covers the house side in more detail.
Power gets sorted out on the ground before anybody climbs. First we find every outdoor plug on the house, then split the runs so no single circuit gets overloaded, and set a timer. Lights on at dusk, off at bedtime, and you never touch a switch.
Diamond Springs Christmas light installation around town
Diamond Springs covers more ground than people expect, and the neighborhoods don’t all light the same way.
In Diamond Spring Estates the yard oaks sit close to the house, so a couple of wrapped trunks and a lit front walk add a lot to a plain roofline.
In Deer Park the rooflines are straightforward and mostly single-story, so one continuous run of warm white does the job in an afternoon.
Out Pleasant Valley Road toward the community of Pleasant Valley, lots get bigger and more rural. Long driveways there make stake lighting worth it, since that’s the path you and your guests actually walk and drive after dark.
Up by Missouri Flat Road and China Garden Road, homes sit close to the shopping side of town, and a lot of them get seen by traffic, so we keep the lines bright and simple. Around Ringold Road the lots are wooded, and one wrapped oak by the drive usually beats a second roofline. We light plenty of homes just over the line in El Dorado too, and north toward Placerville, where the lots start to climb and a lit walk matters more than it does on the flats.
Shops along Mother Lode Drive and 49
Businesses on Mother Lode Drive and the older buildings along the highway through town get a lot of traffic, especially in December. We’ll outline the storefront, wrap the posts, hang a wreath over the door, and put it all on a timer that matches your hours. Our storefront lighting page explains how we plan a business.
Repairs and January pickup
December up here can swing from sunny afternoons to hard frost overnight, and now and then a wet storm blows through off the Sierra. Once they’re up, anything that goes wrong is on us. If a strand quits, call (209) 444-1844 and we’ll come out and fix it. In January we head back up 49 and take everything down, so your gutters are bare by spring and there’s no pile of light boxes in the garage.
We work up in Placerville, over in Shingle Springs, and through El Dorado too, so a stop in Diamond Springs costs us almost no extra driving.

Tell us about your house or storefront, how many stories, roughly how much roofline, and whether there are big trees you’d like wrapped. Most of the time that’s enough for us to quote you right over the phone, no visit needed. Call (209) 444-1844, or send a couple of photos through the contact page. November goes fast, so sooner is better.
